Create a CVS file with escape sequence to highlight the word in red

Hi,

I try to create a tab delimiter file with bold header, when I convert the file into Microsoft Excel, it has a bold header.  The file can be in text or CSV exension.

Thank you.

Neither text nor CSV files support any kind of formatting, just plain text.

Hi David,

I create a text file and import into the Excel with the tab delimiter.

You cannot import formatted text in Excel with a tab delimited text file as the source. The file must be created in either native Excel format or HTML.

There are many posts and articles on this Developer Community that discuss the generation of Excel-compatible files that will support text formatting; too many options to list them all here. Search for "Excel files" and you may find an answer that will work for you.
