From this four-hour nontechnical workshop, you’ll learn what HL7 FHIR is, how it works (through a hands-on exercise), and why it is a game changer for data interoperability and the healthcare data standard of the future. In the final part of the workshop, InterSystems customers will tell us about their implementations of FHIR in InterSystems technology. Delivered by Russ Leftwich, InterSystems internal FHIR expert, cochair of two HL7 workgroups developing the FHIR standard, and a director and treasurer of the HL7 FHIR foundation, this workshop is designed for nontechnical learners or developers who are unfamiliar with FHIR as a healthcare data model.
