Hello Developer Community!
Once again I'm here to talk about the ObjectScript extension for Visual Studio Code, and this time we are excited to announce the release of version 1.0!
The community has come together in an unprecedented way to deliver this product with InterSystems, and its only fitting that a tool so critical to developer productivity would be built with community testing, feedback and source code from the very beginning.
Most of the features in this release have been present since 0.9 and were announced earlier in this post. They have all been enhanced and polished.

GA releases are now available for the first version (v1.0) of InterSystems System Alerting and Monitoring (InterSystems SAM for short) InterSystems SAM v1.0 provides a modern monitoring solution for InterSystems IRIS based products. It allows high-level views of clusters and single-node drilled down metrics-visualization together with alerts notifications. This first version provides visualization for more than one hundred InterSystems IRIS kernel metrics, and users can extend the default-supplied Grafana template to their liking. V1.0 is meant to be a simple and intuitive baseline. Help us

AWS has officially released their second-generation Arm-based Graviton2 processors and associated Amazon EC2 M6g instance type, which boasts up to 40% better price performance over current generation Intel Xeon based M5 instances.
A few months ago, InterSystems participated in the M6g preview program, and we ran a few benchmarks with InterSystems IRIS that showed compelling results. This led us to support ARM64 architectures for the first time.

June 30, 2020 – Advisory: ODS Not Storing Observations When Terminology Translations Are Used
InterSystems has corrected a defect that can lead to missing resource data in FHIR search results.
This problem exists for:
This defect occurs due to an incorrect resource being deleted from the search index. Subsequent FHIR Resource requests against the FHIR Repository may return incomplete results due to that missing index. Any type of FHIR resource data can be lost, and depending on when the defect occurs, the same FHIR request could return different result sets.
InterSystems has corrected a defect that can cause FHIR searches to return incomplete results. The defect manifests because a FHIR update interaction deletes an incorrect resource from the search index. Although the data still exists in the repository, subsequent searches may return incomplete results due to the missing entry in that index.

InterSystems has corrected two defects that affect online backup of very large databases. Backups taken via external methods, such as snapshots or direct file copies, are not affected. These defects exist in all released versions of all InterSystems products.
The first defect only affects databases with more than 231 blocks. It results in a degraded database after restoring from an online backup. For example, databases that have a block size of 8 KB (the default) are only affected if they are larger than 16 TB. The correction for this defect is identified as RJF437.
