How do I take SVG data to be an image in Logi Reports? Now I can take JPG data and render it in Logi Reports. And I can take the SVG data in ObjectScript, but when I view it in Logi Reports, it won't appear. How do I get the code in ObjectScript to appear and be read in Logi Reports?

I have a problem with logi report, 

in my store procedure,  I create code like this?

$ListToString(%DLIST(DISTINCT (ARCIM_Desc)),'<br/>') as "ARCIM_Desc", -> this is the problem

$ListToString(%DLIST(DISTINCT (MRDIA_ICDCode_DR)),'<br/>') as "MRDIA_ICDCode_DR", -> it's works fine

as you see there's a <br/> in the display of the report

I have no idea about this, maybe someone can help me fix this problem ?

I'm looking towards a functionality alike Python's difflib, but made with Intersystems products. I already know could embed Python code within IRIS but thought maybe there was a development already done for handling deltas, with a different approach or extra utils.

Even if I find such a library after comparing both might still go with difflib or any other more suitable. Intend to use it for a cross-environment checklist/check tool.

          I am creating a report on Trakcare with the help of Jreport. But the date parameter from trakcare is not reading on Jreport and the report is blank.

If I hardcode the date on Jreport,it is displaying on Trakcare but not taking report from Trakcare.

Parameter used on report manager on Trakcare is $g(%request.Data("DateFrom",1)).

Can anyone please tell me any change of settings on Trakcare or Jreport will help to work ?

We currently use a combination of Ghostscript and ImageMagick to accomplish our PDF requirements.  These products are ceating memory/cpu issues when merging large PDFS.  I am trying to find out if Intersystems Reports can handle our requirements (see below).

We are using SQL based KPI's to display reports in IRIS dashboards. We have applied the filter functionality in these SQL based KPI reports.

I need your help for below scenario.

Below is my full report. Filter is applied on Name and Subject Name in this report.

Now I have used filter on Name and selected values 'Virat' and 'Big Show'

2 entries were displayed from 5 records.

Now when I look in Subject Name Filter, it still display all the distinct values of Subject Name.

I want this to display only Chemistry and Social (as Name filter got applied).

A report that I need to create - I need to write a class method that will execute a few queries and save the data to a class and then return the data in a result set that can be used in the Logi report as a Stored procedure.

I can create the class method that is a Stored procedure and do the queries and manipulate the data, however I am having an issue at the end of the method to return the fields back as a result set.

For one of the reports I need to produce through Logi, I need to create a parameter/filter and pre-populate it with items from a query.   Has anyone done that before?  And if so how did you do it?

We are investigating option of populating .pdf Custom Properties Name-Value pairs with episode/billing information from the TrakCare database, using Logi Reports.  Resulting .pdf would be stored in a designated network folder.  Would welcome suggestions on feasibility / technique to achieve  / code to achieve (or alternative approach).

Intent is for further (watcher) process to detect new .pdf file in network folder and determine actions and/or process flow based on Name-Value pair information in pdf's Custom Properties.

The Certification Team of InterSystems Learning Services is in the process of developing an exam focusing on creating and working with TrakCare Reports, and we need input from our InterSystems TrakCare community. Your input will be used to evaluate and establish the contents of the exam.

How do I provide my input? We will present you with a list of job tasks, and you will rate them on their importance as well as other factors.

When analyzing data, there is often a need to look at specific indicators more thoroughly and to highlight sections of information of particular interest to a user.

 For instance, examining the data dynamics for specific regions or dates can help us uncover some hidden trends and patterns that will allow us to make an informed decision about our project in the future.

InterSystems Reports version 23.2 is now available from the InterSystems Software Distribution site in the Components section.  They are labeled InterSystems Reports Designer and InterSystems Reports Server and are available for Mac OSX, Windows or Linux.  insightsoftware elected to move from a  numerical number plan to a year-based numbering plan in 2023 so there are no versions 20 through 22;  versions increase from Version 19 to Version 23.  Note that the reports Server docker image will be available at a later date from the Container Repository.

We are about to embark on a development where we'll be taking HL7 messages and generating PDF reports from them. We are wanting to future proof our development efforts within the constraints of our currently deployed platform and future upgrade options. We are currently running on Ensemble 2018, though an upgrade to Iris is anticipated - at some indeterminate point in the future. We are aware of Zen Reports and InterSystems Reports (Logi) as technology options, but are also unclear on some details. A roadmap and guidance from those who've done this kind of thing before would be great!

In this article, we will analyze the intricacies of setting up tables and graphs to improve the readability of data.

Logi offers a rich set of data visualization tools. You can find anything from a wide variety of chart templates to custom CSS styles. Understanding the assortment of settings and options can be quite difficult. First, we will create a chart and a table with default settings, and give them a presentable look using InterSystems Reports (powered by Logi Report).

In this article, we will explore the use of parameters, formulas and labels in Logi Report Designer (formerly Logi JReport Designer). What are they for and how to create them?

Using the basic functionality of InterSystems Reports Designer, parameters, formulas and labels, you can significantly improve the detail and information content of the generated report. In addition, these tools allow you to automate some of the processes, which greatly speeds up and facilitates the creation of reports.

Let's analyze each tool separately now.

We are looking at what we need to do to migrate from our current usage of Zen reports to InterSystems Reports. One of the hurdles for us is figuring out ways to interact with InterSystems reports programmatically from ObjectScript routines. There is a Java API for it, but it is possible to generate a report from InterSystems reports to a stream object in ObjectScript without diving into Java by using a %Net.HttpRequest. Here is a code example, followed by an explanation:

To begin with, you need a licensed copy of InterSystems Reports. 

Developers, we have prepared a tutorial to get you started with InterSystems Adaptive Analytics powered by AtScale. In it, in addition to setting up AtScale and working with data cubes, we will also touch on methods of working with InterSystems Reports and other analytical systems.

Now the course is ready and we want to conduct a pilot training course on a small group of volunteers (3-5 people).
