Thanks for your experiment! This is very interesting. I tried to run the same query (as you did in the last step) on my class, and I got empty collation value for %Library.Username. Out of curiosity, what version of IRIS are you on? When I try to launch Lite terminal from VScode (I tried all approaches above and got the same error), I got this error:

WebSocket error: Error: Unexpected server response: 101

Anyone knows how to resolve this? I can connect to my instance fine, and open/edit code from the namespaces, just the websocket for lite terminal isn't working properly. Thanks!

Thank you very much John! I am indeed using IIS for my local instances so that's the reason here.
